ig·ni·tus
/ɪɡˈnaɪ·təs/
adjective, Latin — from ignīre, "to ignite"
- Set on fire
- Brought to warmth and light
Ignitus is a real estate investment and operating company at the intersection of residential and hospitality. We study how people desire to live, breathe new life into overlooked buildings, and operate them under our own brand.
Our work is repositioning and redesign, and we work only where we deeply understand the culture from the inside: the US, Japan, and Korea.
We respect the character of every neighborhood we enter. Our commitment is to leave each one better than we found it.
Who we are
Fire has always been humanity's first engine of progress—a source of warmth, a beacon of clarity, and a catalyst for creation. Ignitus takes its name from this Latin root for ignition. We exist to spark momentum and spread warmth to people and communities we serve. This philosophy is embedded directly into our visual identity.
Our logo forms an ascending tower of seven triangles:
• The Apex: The topmost peak represents the spark—our vision and our team.
• The Foundations: Below it lie six triangles representing the six continents of the world.
It is our daily challenge and privilege to anchor our work with intention, and let the warmth of what we build radiate across the globe.
Our Identity
Our Philosophy
Space shapes how we live. Every great company, every lasting creation, is a product of local culture — and culture lives in physical places. We are students of lifestyle — people's ever-changing desire for quality of life. As technology absorbs more of daily life, that desire is shifting toward what cannot be digitized: the feel of a thoughtfully designed room, the warmth of a well-kept neighborhood, the texture of a local culture experienced in person.
This is why we believe real estate that is merely owned and passively managed loses relevance — while space that is designed with intention and cared for by hand becomes more valuable than ever. We build for the experiences no algorithm can deliver: the tangible pleasure of living well.
Our Leadership

Megumi AokiCo-Founder / Chief Brand OfficerOur Culture
Culture is at the heart of everything we do, and core to our culture are our five values. They are the DNA of who we are; they guide our work, our decisions, and how we show up for the people we serve.
Hospitality at Heart
We serve first.
Hospitality isn’t a department for us; it’s the lens for every decision, from how we underwrite a building to how we answer a late-night message. We believe real estate is ultimately a service business — the asset is just the vessel. We stay humble and kind because good service starts with listening: to residents, to neighbors, to each other. Care, not just management.
Endlessly Curious
We are students of the future of living.
Cities change, technology changes, and what people want from a home changes with them. We read, travel, ask questions, and study markets others overlook. We don’t chase trends — we try to understand where life is headed, so our spaces feel right not just today, but ten years from now.
Stay Open
The best idea wins, wherever it comes from.
We hold our opinions loosely and our standards tightly. Markets shift, regulations change, and residents surprise us — so we stay flexible by design, not by accident. We’d rather change our minds than defend a plan that’s stopped working. New ideas get a real hearing here, whether they come from a partner, a resident, or the newest person in the room.
Excellence, Obsessively
Good enough isn’t.
We sweat details others skip — the seam of a countertop, the tone of a welcome message, the tenth revision of an underwriting model. Passion for excellence means we hold ourselves to the standard of the people we serve, not the standard of the industry. When we put our name on a building, it means something.
Driven by Purpose
This is more than business to us.
We believe enriching how people live is work worth devoting ourselves to. A sense of mission means we show up not because we have to, but because we feel responsible for what we’re building — for our residents, our neighborhoods, and the future of living itself.
